Located in Dollar, Clackmannanshire, The Forager is your new favourite gastro pub. The Forager opened its doors in December 2022. A laid back country style gastro pub with a stunning private dining room and honest cooking that wouldn’t be out of place in the country kitchens of yesteryear.

The restaurant is run by the Dean Banks Group who are an East Coast company who specialise in high-end dining and beverages. Dean’s first job as a chef was at The Brewhouse in Arbroath. The menu will pay homage to favourite British pub classics with daily specials which will include fresh fish, shellfish & a classic Sunday roast.

In the bar we serve craft beers, Scottish spirits, fantastic wines, bespoke cocktails and a selection of local hand pulled ales.

THE STORY SO FAR….. The Forager team have recently taken over The Inn at Dollar.
The Forager is part of the Dean Banks group, who have Haar in St Andrews, The Pompadour and Dulse in Edinburgh.

The Forager offers modern gastro pub food using the finest regional produce in our very own special way, an eclectic selected wine list, local real ales in a relaxed setting. We aim for a rustic yet contemporary decor, casual yet elegant, warm and welcoming in the true Clackmannanshire way and as functional as a food pub should be. Very dog friendly in the bar areas.

Local Beer on Draught

With the local brewery on our doorstep, Harviestoun supplies us with the freshest beer. The gastro pub has a range of local beer on draught including our very own AUCH lager.

Our draught options pay homage to Scotland and what it has to offer. We have three real ale casks which rotate weekly.
